Technical Coordination

Project Background

As part of a departmental digital transformation program for schools, tablets were deployed and assigned to 6th grade students, with the goal of supporting them throughout their middle school years.

This institutional project required a high level of expertise in preparation, reliability, and standardization, with devices needing to be operational from the moment they were handed to students and designed for multi-year use.

Tech-IT was involved for two consecutive years across 10 public schools as a subcontractor for a national integrator (ESN), operating across multiple school sites, requiring on-site coordination, adherence to procedures, and management of constraints specific to the school environment.

Role & responsibilities

Technical deployment coordinator – Multi-school scope

Across 10 schools, Tech-IT served as the on-site technical lead, directly responsible for the smooth execution of deployment operations.

Key responsibilities included:

  • Coordinating technical interventions across multiple school sites

  • Preparing, configuring, and deploying student tablets

  • Quality control of equipment before distribution

  • Strict adherence to deployment and tracking procedures

  • Technical liaison between the integrator, project teams, and schools

  • Managing constraints specific to active school environments

This role required autonomy, operational rigor, and accountability, as the equipment was intended to support students throughout their entire middle school years.

Constraints & environment

  • Institutional project led by a local authority

  • Deployment in active school settings

  • Equipment designed for multi-year use (entire middle school cycle)

  • Multiple sites (10 schools)
